Auditions

LJYO Auditions are held throughout the season

Come see what it is all about. Bring a friend or two!

Your Zoom audition will be 15 minutes.

Our season runs from September to May, with rehearsals on Saturday mornings.

Orchestra members range from age 10 to 22, playing brass, woodwinds, percussion, and strings.

Audition Requirements*

Play 1 fast piece

Play 1 slow piece

1 major scale

1 minor scale

1 chromatic scale

You may be asked to sight-read a passage and clap a passage of music to determine your level.
